I called Walmart, they advised there has recently been an extension of return policy on this particular microwave from Hamilton Beach. I also like all the different power settings. My microwave I had before had only one power setting and took a long time to heat things up. The default setting is max power & I do turn the power settings occasionally when I feel like it is cooking too hot and too fast.
