Schwinn Meridian Adult Tricycle

Sometimes when we are buying an adult trike, our intention was for leisure riding and neighborhood errands, not for speed. So this is the reason many people chose the over other multi speeds trike. The trike’s wheels are made of stainless steel and have rims. Wide tires improve the comfort and smoothness of your ride on any road.

It is not foldable like most other trikes that come with similar features. Its large stature means that during assembly caution should be exercised to make sure that it easily goes through doors. The low step through allowance makes it easy to get on and off from this trike.

If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case. Etsy offsets carbon emissions from shipping and packaging on this purchase. Other factors—such as shipping carrier delays or placing an order on weekend/holiday—may push the arrival of your item beyond this date.

Really though, the difference isn’t going to be noticeable for most people, so go with whichever one is available. There is no doubt that the Schwinn Meridian Tricycle weight limit is impressive. So, this tricycle is generally a good commuter trike and cargo carrier for anyone who wants to cruise around town. The 26” Schwinn Meridian weighs 73 pounds, while the 24” Schwinn Meridian weighs 70 pounds. The weight difference is due to the difference in wheel size between the two tricycles. This cruiser saddle is also well cushioned to also improve your cycling comfort.

Hi all I would like to know if anyone has mounted an engine on a Scwinn meridian trike before and if you have any tips on how to do it. I am thinking of putting a foru stroke from bicycle-engines.com on it maybe even a two stoke. Also can you use a shift kit on it like the one from sickbikeparts.com any help would be greatly appriciated. I can put that Schwinn on hold and check other options but I am wondering is bicycle with differential much better option or would one-wheel drive be enough?

My Monterey has 26” x 1.5” touring tires that grab the road fair, but travel about 6” side to side while going downhill, so steering is required for correction. I rarely ride twisting downhill roads, but when I do reduce speed for sharp turning and reduce tilting risks. Tipping is more of a safety hazard on upright tricycles than “over-the-bar” effect.

The thick brake pads provide the trike’s braking power. They have situated on the opposite part of the wheel in front and the rear wheel on the left. They are located on the side of the handlebars to allow you to stop the trike without much effort when riding. Its Schwinn Meridian trike is equipped with an ergonomically created seat.

Otherwise, you would have to get it assembled at a bicycle shop at an extra cost. Estimate the monthly payment amount of a huffy cruiser bike purchase using our easy Payment Calculator. Simply enter the purchase amount, select the desired period, then calculate.
