Isolate for at least 5 days from when you first started having symptoms or from when you tested positive. At-Home COVID-19 Tests are available through Curbside Pickup only from one of the County’s 18 libraries. When you arrive, please park in a designated parking spot and call the number listed on the sign. Based on demand, customers may be limited to one kit per interaction.

COVID 19 Test Kits

The Pilot COVID-19 At-Home Test is a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2. This test is authorized for non-prescription home use with self collected anterior nasal swab samples from individuals aged 14 years or older with symptoms of COVID-19 within the first 6 days of symptom onset. Please complete your test within 48 hours of receiving it. If you do not return the test kit within 60 days of receiving, you will be charged a $19 fee.

Please call the health center nearest you for more information about the availability of low or no-cost COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. Our report, Usability of COVID-19 Antigen Home Test Kits, provides ease-of-use ratings and pros and cons for the following seven rapid tests that ECRI purchased through online and retail stores in December 2021. Antibody testing for return to work or school, travel, or other recreational activities is not covered by your plan. EmblemHealth only covers non-diagnostic antibody tests when these services are delivered according to the terms of your benefit plan.

If you were tested at a VA health facility and you have a My HealtheVet Premium account, you can get your test results online as soon as we have them. If you don’t have a My HealtheVet Premium account, you can get one now. You will need to provide an email Disposable masks address for each individual test kit ordered. MD COVID Alert uses Bluetooth technology to quickly notify users who might have been exposed to someone who tested positive. This will reduce the risk of infection and help Maryland stop the spread of COVID-19.

In both the rapid test and PCR test, samples are collected using a nasal swab. A swab is inserted about one inch into each nostril, one side at a time. The swab is then rotated around the inside of each nostril, approximately five times, to gather mucous. If you are not COVID 19 Test Kits fully vaccinated, test immediately if you find out you are a close contact. If your test result is negative, test again 5 to 7 days after your last exposure, or immediately if symptoms develop. When the demand for testing is high, PCR results can take a week or longer.

We suggest taking one test in the kit before traveling and the other before returning to campus. Northwestern’s on-site testing will remain open during regular hours over Spring Break. In an effort to further strengthen COVID-19 safety and prevention in schools, all students and staff will receive a COVID-19 home rapid nasal testing kits.
