Cuisinart® Coffee Center Black Stainless 10 Cup Countertop Thermal Coffee Maker and Single Serve Brewer-SS20 Fitzgerald, GA

The temperature of the freshly brewed coffee sat at 170oF/ 77oC, and we poured out a couple of mugs and left the rest in the carafe. Two hours later, its temperature had dropped to 151oF/ 66oC, which was still hot enough to drink. Five hours after brewing it was down to 129oF/ 54oC, which is just about hot enough – if you don’t plan to add milk. All in all, considering the coffee had been sitting in the carafe, not on a hot plate, for five hours, that’s a pretty good result. The Cuisinart comes with two charcoal water filters to eliminate chlorine and unpleasant flavors from tap water. A filter will see you through around 90 days, and you can purchase replacements inexpensively online.

Light roasts are denser, while dark roasts tend to be oilier than other options. Just take a moment to think, e.g If you’re one to find the hot water never warm enough when you brew, then temp control is inherently important to you too. This 10 cup coffee machine serves its purpose well if you can care for it properly.

You will have to play around with them sometimes to get them in correctly. The biggest turn-off of this particular unit is that it only heats your coffee to 160°. The 10 cup capacity refers to smaller coffee cups; if you’re filling a good-sized mug then you should get enough coffee to fill it five times. If you’re looking for a coffee maker that can produce 10 mugs of coffee in one brew, this isn’t the appliance for you. The Cuisinart Grind & Brew Auto is about the size we’d expect for this style of coffee maker, measuring 15 x 8 x 8.1 inches/ 38 x 20.3 x 20.6cm .

Shower head style spigot provides even coverage of hot water over coffee grounds. Thermal carafe can keep coffee hot for as long as 4 hours with minimal degradation to flavor. When it comes to makers, there isn’t anything better than this SCAA certified pour over beauty. Easy to use and doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Being able to program our morning coffee is so important to us and love the options it comes with!! Also, beautifully constructed and love the blue lights.

First we brewed the full 10 cup maximum capacity, which took just over 10 minutes, including the grinding. The manual advises roughly one scoop of beans per cup, but not more than 14 scoops, so we opted for 12 to ensure it would be strong enough. The flavor was fresh and well rounded – not bitter or too strong – but this will vary depending on the beans you use.

There, you can search according to price, dimensions, capacity, and other options that might work best for you and your kitchen. Next, pull out the capsule holder from the single serve side of your Coffee Center. And, adjust to your preferred brew settings and start the brew. That in itself makes the Hamilton Beach Center a viable option for those who want a coffee maker with the best of both worlds.
