Shark Vertex Ultra IZ462H Vacuum Cleaner Review

It’s very similar in design to the Shark Anti-Allergen Pet Power but uses a smaller capacity battery and a slightly more limited set of attachments. Otherwise, it shares many of the same features as other models in the lineup, with a self-cleaning brushroll, a high-capacity dustbin, and HEPA filtration. As the second-best performer in our current test group, the Tineco A11 Hero represents an outstanding deal. So much so that it has officially bumped the Shark Rocket Pet Pro Cordless out of our top pick for best midrange cordless vacuum. With an average 72.5% sand pickup from midpile carpeting, and 82.5% sand removal from low-pile carpet, the Hero performs better.

Otherwise, this is a great vacuum cleaner and I highly recommend it. The Dyson Cyclone V10 is better than the Shark Cordless Pet Plus for most uses. The Dyson weighs considerably less, is easier to maneuver, lasts longer on a charge, has a removable brushroll that’s easy to clean, and comes with a wider array of attachments.

Free shipping is included with your purchase, and in-store pickup is available in many areas. You’ll need to act quickly to claim this deal, as Walmart is showing more than 1,000 have been sold since yesterday, so click over to Walmart soon or risk inventory running out. Here’s a list of the other cordless stick vacuums we tested besides the models we’ve recommended above. If you want cordless vacuuming on a tight budget, however, do consider the Moosoo XL-618A. This cordless stick vacuum cleaner just does what you need, and for much less cash than many models. Weighing 1.4 pounds, the Shark WANDVAC Cordless Handheld Vacuum is the smallest member of the Shark vacuum family. However, despite its size, it offers powerful suction for small messes.

The system does work and we observed plenty of dirt we’d normally miss. One drawback though is that the laser isn’t visible under strong indoor lighting or sunlight. In deciding between the two Shark vacuums, I would make the choice mainly by your budget. The vacuums are both quite similar but the Vertex is a step up in suction power and its larger wheels make it easier to push on carpet. Also check out the newest Shark which sometimes goes on sale (but at its regular price it’s the same cost as the Dyson v10 which I’d go with instead). When you’re finished with the floors, this vacuum quickly transforms into a handheld unit that makes cleaning up around the house a breeze.

Keeping the floors clean is a chore none of us are able to escape, and the Shark Pet cordless vacuum makes the process easy and convenient. Its powerful suction is great for cleaning up everyday messes and high-traffic areas, and it’s able to deliver deep cleaning across your whole home. This vacuum should be particularly interesting to pet owners, as its self-cleaning brushroll offers powerful pet hair pickup with no hair wrap. It also has an extra large dust cup with CleanTouch Dirt Ejector for easy dirt disposal. If you’re looking for the powerful suction of an upright vacuum but the convenience of a cordless stick vacuum, this is the one for you. And with such a long battery life, you could vacuum your apartment multiple times or clean an entire two-story house before having to charge it.

While you’d think a bigger dustbin would always be better, there is one advantage to the smaller dustbin of the Sharks. I’ve found it’s easier to reach in and get all of the vacuumed up crap and debris out of the Shark dustbin since it’s a lot shallower than the Dyson dustbin. As well as using shark cordless them as handhelds what I found is that all four have very good suction powder and they all got the job done. However, the power fins that both Sharks have on their rotating floor vacuum elements give them a leg up over the Dyson Animals on vacuuming larger items like dry dog food and Cheerios.

It also includes LED lights on the bottom so you can light up any dark corners and crevices where hidden dust may lie. Its flexible wand is also useful in areas that dyson robot vacuum are hard to reach. It’s practically identical to the Shark Anti-Allergen Pet Power in terms of design, with a bottom-mounted dustbin running parallel to its wand.

We then started through the same rotation a second time and noted when each vacuum died. For both Sharks and the Dyson v10, we ran them on the low setting on the hardwoods and low pile carpet and the next highest setting on the medium pile carpet. The Dyson v11 has an auto sense feature that detects the type of surface it cleans and increases or decreases the suction accordingly so no toggling to different settings was needed.

Meanwhile, the Shark has a larger dustbin that won’t need emptying as often. Despite its bulkier design, it’s also a little easier to maneuver than the Tineco. The Dyson V8 is better than the Shark Cordless Pet Plus for most uses. On the other hand, the Shark has a larger dustbin, charges a lot faster, and feels sturdier. Dysons are pricey, but worth the money if you have it to spend. If not, there are plenty of cheaper cordless vacuums that will do the job and keep your home clean.
