The 1st thing I’ve noticed is the mechanism that support the top griddle being only on one side causes the lid to be lower on one side than the other. The lid is too heavy to be supported only on one side. The next thing I’ve noticed is a heat crack on the front panel right next to the lower griddle.
So many great features, perfect for everyday use. We ended up going with this model as my husband uses it the most. I like the display as easy to read for an older person. We like the additional cuisinart soup maker space, being able to heat the top of the sandwich without the cheese sticking to the griddle, and the ability to sear. It is definitely larger for storage or counter space but I think worth it.
