For a long time I wasn’t a fan of stroller wagons. I’ve seen way too many accidents when parents were pulling them behind without looking and they all seemed bulky and uncomfortable. Now I get why many parents of multiples are obsessed with stroller wagons.
The maneuverability is excellent, it drives just as smooth as Uppababy Vista or Cybex Gazelle which quite frankly is surprising because it’s slightly heavier. If you are comparing Wonderfolds to the Pivot Xplore, the W2 version is a 2-seater that is a more apples-to-apples comparison. The wheel, axel and bearing assembly seem high quality.

There are simply two buttons, one on each side, that you push and allow the entire wagon to collapse in half. The handlebar can easily fold in as well, taking up less room. To open up, just push those two buttons and the wagon swings back out to its full form.

I bought it because I realized that we need an all-terrain vehicle for both kids, as our toddler demands to be driven around or carried on longer excursions and refuses buggy board. While I like Zoe Twin it doesn’t do well for hiking or snow, and the double BOB stroller was too wide to fit into many places. While there is a lot to love about the Veer, the Xplore comes better equipped out of the box with additional storage and canopies, all for a lower price. We took it up and down hills, along paths, and over bumps.
Despite certain flows, both my husband and I like the wagon and we’re going to be taking it with us to Europe on our next trip. We decided it cannot be our only vehicle and we’re surely keeping a single stroller as well for the baby, but Evenflo Pivot Xplore Wagon Stroller is surely a handy vehicle to own. If you need to use the wagon on paths with tree roots and branches, it is best to shift the handle to pull-mode. The pulling action lets you lift the front wheels over bumps as you pull and the larger wheels in the rear will roll over all but really big roots. The handle only goes to 40 inches and could stand to be higher for taller parents. It is comfortable but we prefer the handles with a more rounded shape.
The area where your little ones put their feet makes it awkward for them to do anything other than sit straight up. Some people on the internet have measured that space and purchased a container to fill the void, creating a flat surface across the bottom of the wagon. But, evenflo car seat and stroller obviously, this would be less than ideal if you want to create a good spot for a little nap while on the go.
