Using my Nova in my RV, the only issue is there is no place to safely release pressure. My coach is older with lower ceiling which is some sort of fabric, and I can’t release pressure without unplugging and moving it to the table where there is nothing overhead but the ceiling. It’s a bit disconcerting but we are remodeling our kitchen and it’s been a real godsend overall. When the weather improves I may use it outside on a sturdy table.
In all other respects, it functions very similarly to the Duo Plus. The Instant Pot Smart WiFi pairs with your smartphone, so you can see what’s going on in your Instant Pot from anywhere! My favorite thing about using it is being able to tell exactly how hot it is inside the pot.
To clean it, slide it out, empty it out, rinse and slide back in place. Slide the condensation collector onto the back of the Instant Pot. Make sure no part of the sealing ring is sticking out, or you may have sealing issues and get the Burn Message. Continue to pull the silicone sealing ring out until it is completely separated. Don’t use another Instant Pot model’s lid on the Duo Nova Instant Pot.
Furthermore, Ultra also has a cooking progress indicator, which may earn some admiration from beginners who can’t yet pressure cook or slow cook without worrying. This isn’t the only model available with a pressure release button. In fact, other machines place their buttons on the main control panel, even farther away from the assault of steam that accompanies depressurizing a pressure cooker. However, the DUO Nova is undoubtedly still in the minority, offering a pressure release button. The pressure release button is our absolute favorite thing about the DUO Nova’s user experience.

For the most part, you usually don’t need to adjust time unless it’s a really thick piece of meat.
