Cuisinart Clermont Pellet Grill & Smoker Cover

A deep clean really depends on how often you use your grill and what kind of smoking you do. However, if you often do long smokes, and rarely smoke with cookware, you will have to clean more frequently. Generally speaking, after 50 hours of smoking, it’s time for a deep clean. As you’d expect from Traeger, there’s no shortage of power and versatility with the Pro Series. A brushless DC motor-driven auger and a wide temperature range ensure smooth, easy cooking with any slap of meat.

The Cuisinart Woodcreek & Twin Oaks only feature Bluetooth and not WiFi. As I discuss in my article on WiFi pellet grills/smokers, Bluetooth connectivity is not as useful as WiFi. However, in the case of the Cuisinart Clermont 1-2 lbs per hour is more realistic.

With insulated pellet cookers such as the Kamado Joe Pellet Joe, pellet consumption while smoking could actually be under 1lb per hour. I had some issues with the pellet sensor going off when I still had pellets…but I have a beta model. If you cuisinart pots and pans set still have problems, you can disable that feature. Also, the right door can be a little hard to close. I found if you lift it slightly, that’s the secret. For more outdoor grilling with Cuisinart, check out my review of their 360 XL Griddle.

This will momentarily raise the temperature, but the temperature will decrease and stabilize after minutes. As for having a hard time keeping temp, the grill naturally fluctuates during the cook. Personally, I haven’t had any issues with that fluctuation. If you’re seeing spikes up or down greater than that, ensure your doors are closed all the way.

A pellet grill/smoker is only as good as the BBQ pellets you put into it. The type/quality of the BBQ wood pellets you use will impact temperature performance and smoke flavour. There are many pellet flavours including Apple, Hickory, Mapel, Oak and Walnut to name but a few. Enjoy the wood pellet BBQ grill & smoker’s large 450 Square inch cooking area and 15 pounds of hopper capacity.

While some pellet grills can be found under $500, most range between $1,000 and $2,000 depending on the size and features. They have more moving parts than other types of grills, and controlling the temperature is a bit more complicated than a grill that uses dials or vents. A thermostat and an onboard computer control the grill’s cuisinart pots and pans set auger, fan, and ignition system. You can get many of these on other grills, but few have all of them at this kind of price. At $700USD the Cuisinart Clermont seems like a steal. Where the Cuisinart Clermont is now competitive with the Pit Boss Lockhart unlike the Cuisinart Woodcreek is with offering direct-flame access.
