I ended up ordering this Westinghouse and it is a fantastic pressure washer. The integrated soap tank on the Ryobi RY is very easy to refill. To assess noise, we ran each machine at full power and full throttle and used a sound meter to take some decibel readings right next to each machine. Then, we backed up 25 feet away from the machines and took readings again. Because a sound meter can’t determine pitch, we used our best judgment to determine whether there were any particularly annoying or bothersome sounds coming out of any of the machines. When I do, and when I need to move, it’s annoying to deal with the hose , the spray nozzle wand, the bucket of detergent and the high pressure washer itself.
If no paint chipped off, we switched to a more powerful tip and moved the wand closer to the block of wood. The Force – 1800 is really only designed for the lightest of cleaning jobs. It feels a bit too low quality if westinghouse pressure washers you plan to use it more than say, once a year and should only be considered if saving space in your garage is the top priority. We thought we were shipped the wrong item when The Force – 1800 arrived in the mail.
