At least someone could have spoken to me about the problem. I would never buy a Braun product again if this is the way they treat their customers. Braun made 2 major revisions to their existing Series 5 shavers like the higher range Series 7 and Series 9. The robust third generation and some 2nd generation series 5 shavers are available on the market with and without automatic cleaning and charging station. Beyond the existing Series 5 shavers, Braun released their new shaped electric shavers in the Series in 2020 which are slightly downgraded. However, Braun minimized the price range in the newly released shavers and added some extra facilities as well.

If the shaver is regularly cleaned with water, apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the foil once a week for lubrication. Change cleaning cartridge at least every 8 weeks. Sometimes charging could start delayed (e.g. after long storage). Start the cleaning process by pressing the start button . If status light does not shine (C&C switches to stand-by after ca. 10 minutes), press start button twice.
