I tried the Weber Traveler, the new $325 collapsible, portable grill Here’s what happened

Weber has excellent customer service, and I’d bet that if you called them, they’d send out a replacement regulator right away. Do you want something that will store easily in your garden shed, but still grills wonderfully? There is a good chance that it’ll be perfectly fine, but if it does crap out, it’ll be within the first few uses. Call Weber’s customer service number found in the manual, and they’ll likely send out a new one. Now, cleaning is never fun or easy, but I feel like Weber Q1200 is super easy to clean. You may be asking if the new and old grills are so similar, why take the time to create a fresh review at all?

It has enough of cooking space for a small family and its temperatures are high enough to tackle almost any kind of BBQing that you can imagine. It is also really easy to use and a lot of fun to work with as well. Speaking of weight, one of the few negative things that I do have to say about the portable bbq 2200 is regarding how heavy it is.

In contrast, others say the regulator is bad right out of the box. I am not technical enough to know if these problems stem from the same issue, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they are. If you find that the Weber Q1200 is running hot on the first run, give it some time before assuming there’s a problem.

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker, placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint of the Grilla Pellet Smoker makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, including on a condo patio. Max bottles his own barbecue sauce recipes and now sells them around the country.

With its removable and disposable catch pan, you can make clean-up easier by collecting the grease from the grease pan. If all this was not enough, Q1400 even features aluminum liners to retain heat much better than other grills. Even as a seasoned BBQ cook, I am still excited by the electronic ignition on this gas grill. If you have ever tried to manually start a fire, even on an electric grill, then you know what a hassle it can be. The Weber Q2200 is one of the most popular gas grills in the Weber product line.

Since then Weber, like many others, has outsourced manufacturing of more product lines. Things change, but we believe Weber’s commitment to quality and innovation has not. The only real difference is that the 2200 is a bit bigger and it has a hood thermometer. However, what I have seen of the 2200 makes it a good investment for you.

We put salt in these bottled rubs because all commercial rubs have salt and consumers expect it. You can still use these as a dry brine, just sprinkle the rub on well in advance to give the salt time to penetrate. For very thick cuts of meat, we recommend adding a bit more salt. Salt appears first in the ingredients list because law says the order is by weight, not volume, and salt is a heavy rock.
