All of these heavy-duty materials add a great deal to the weight—at nearly 25lb, this is the heaviest tent in our 2021 review. However, this was not a bother to us, as this tent really only needs to be transported from the car to the impact pad, and we’d rather heft a few extra pounds than sacrifice durability. Though the fly doesn’t go all the way to the ground, the fabric on the lower section of the tent may actually be even burlier than the fly. Sometimes a tent that sleeps 6 will be listed under more than one of these. However, if you’re on a camping excursion with 4 adults, a 6 person tent is a great place to start. Remember, you’re typically not only sleeping in the tent but you might be storing bags and other gear inside as well.
Some users stated that the poles didn’t snap even though they used the tents countless time, the tent could even hold up to strong wind. There is no need to lay out the poles, put them in pole sleeves or ozark trail 10 person tent clip them to a frame. I would say this tent can do alright in a cold weather situation. Air flows easily when all screens are not used and the windows are fully opened. By opening the vents and the windows, there shouldn’t be any issue for condensation. When the windows are shut and the vents are closed, condensation may happen as some users reported. While this helps to lessen the time of setting the tent up, you will be solely be depending on it to protect you from the rain.
