Why I Love The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max

This warranty applies to a product used for personal purposes, and not commercial or rental service. I find the Bissell CrossWave Cordless a cleaning machine worth considering. Being being cordless, the CrossWave offers you a versatile cleaning device that you can use anywhere.

The Max is pretty portable. It weighs almost exactly as much as the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro, but its redesigned handle places less weight in your hand as you maneuver it around. Let us know in the discussions if you come across another variant of this vacuum, and we’ll update our review. This vacuum’s suction force has been retested with a more accurate manometer.

For an in-depth review of this upgraded wet dry vacuum from Bissell, read on. I will delve into everything there’s to know about the features it comes with. And towards the end of the review, I’ll do a comparison between it, a previous model meant for pet owners and Hoover ONEPWR FloorMate Jet. To start us off, lets take a quick look at the specs. A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner’s suction power. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.

Bissell’s newest, wet-dry vacuum cleaner promises a cordless, light, easy-to-use appliance to help bring some sanity back into families’ lives. The Max does an excellent job of handling pet hair on bare floors, though you might need to make an extra pass to clear away all of it on low-pile carpet. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max feels decently well-built. It’s similar to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro in terms of overall build quality, with a body made mainly from hard plastic and an aluminum wand. The floorhead release hinge unlocks with very little effort, making it hard to roll the vacuum around when it’s positioned completely upright. You’ll likely find it easier to move the vacuum from place to place by using the grab handle, which has a rubberized surface to give you a more secure grip.

During that time, the cleaning solution goes from hot to cold, making the next usage cycle less optimal in cleaning effectiveness. As such, you have to prioritize which areas you want this appliance to clean and which remaining places to manually vacuum/sweep and mop. One Skimm HQ’r cleaned her apartment with the Bissell vacuum over the course of several weeks.

The test results for the ‘Maximum Suction’ and ‘Normal Suction’ fields have been updated. The BISSELL Connect app provides helpful alerts, maintenance tracking and usage tips. Honestly, it isn’t even so much the vacuuming bit as it is the unwinding and re-winding of the cord before and after. Need an answer quickly or immediate assistance with your order?

The only thing that I’m not happy about but not dissatisfied with it is that the battery only lasts about 30 mi. The dyson robot vacuum Max’s real-world suction performance is poor. It uses a less powerful suction motor than the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro and is likely to have more trouble drawing out debris wedged deep within cracks and crevices. Like the corded model, swapping between the ‘Hard Floor’ and ‘Area Rug’ modes doesn’t impact suction performance, as these settings don’t alter brushroll height or motor output.

In terms of design, the two Crosswave models are in many ways identical. They have similar dimensions, dirty water and clean water tank capacities, and several other features. While the Pet Pro is meant to be used by pet owners, the CrossWave cordless is an all-round device for the whole home cleaning needs. Another significant difference between the two devices is power input. The Pet Pro is a corded device that offers unlimited cleaning time. The CrossWave Cordless runs on battery power and cannot clean large areas non-stop.
