The RY comes with three nozzles (rotary, 15-degree, and soap), and among those we don’t think there is any normal cleaning task that the RY can’t handle. The SHP2150 from Stanley is one of the most powerful electric pressure washers that I’ve ever reviewed. Most electric pressure washers fall within the 1500 to 1800 psi range, which is absolutely adequate for general cleaning tasks. But if you need to clean tough stains off the driveway or get rid of mold/ mildew from the furniture in your patio you need slightly more punch. Around 1800 to 2000 psi, but the SHP2150 goes even further than that. It has a maximum water flow rate of 1.4GPM which is actually not bad, I was expecting them to sacrifice flow rate for higher psi.
There are surface cleaner attachments which have a rotating arm with nozzles on either end that push out water jets to spin the arm around. With the ePX3000 you can comfortably transition between paved and unpaved surfaces without any hiccups. This thing climbs up slopes like a champ, and you can sun joe spx 3000 simply lock each individual wheel to make sure it doesn’t slide off the slope. It also has no trouble rolling over grass that is 4 or 5 inches tall. And it can handle some stones or pebbles without immediately tipping over. In fact, you need to actively try in order to make the ePX3000 tip over.
It also offers easy storage for both the hose and cord, although it doesn’t give you as much room to work with in that regard as our larger main pick does. Like the other Ryobi pressure washers, it has a three-year warranty. For a less powerful but more portable option, we like the Ryobi RY1419MTVNM 1900 PSI Electric Pressure Washer. Although it has the same long hose and cord as our main pick, this Ryobi washer is much smaller, weighing around 20 pounds (as opposed to 50-ish pounds).
This has been a fast growing market with many fly-by-night brands seemingly coming out of nowhere. Keeping your lawn neat, tidy and clean requires a lot Champion Power Equipment of work and tools. A chipper/shredder is one of better ways to spend your money for your home, alongside of a generator, lawn mower and chainsaw.
If the motor didn’t have such a low-key sound, this constant operation could have been an issue, but at no point did the motor noise bother us. But gas pressure washers do have their place, due to their power. They’re considerably faster at cleaning—roughly twice as fast—than electric models. This difference is most noticeable when you’re cleaning large areas, such as a driveway or a big deck.
If you’re looking for more power then consider the gas model Generac – 6923. The K5 Premium has a max PSI of 2000 with a max flow rate of 1.4GPM. Both westinghouse pressure washers are above average for electric pressure washers and you will have no trouble cleaning your car, patio, furniture, or driveway with the K5 Premium.
If you’re doing general maintenance cleaning of siding, windows and furniture once or twice a month, you’ll be very happy with this unit. It was pretty closely tied to the Sun Joe, but the more we used the Ivation, the more it became apparent that the Ivation team put lots of effort into polishing this machine’s details. We also loved its lockable wheels that can spin 360 degrees so the pressure washer follows you around without having to push or pull it.
So we called up Honda, and they had us take it into an authorized repair center. We ran into a bit of a snag which may or may not be representative of all the units made by Simpson. When we used the machine for a second time, we noticed a liquid puddled up near the motor. This unit leaked a bit after we plugged the power in, which we realized was our fault.
Recently, Westinghouse updated the model and it’s now called the ePX3050. It received a minor 20psi pressure boost but all other specifications and features remain unchanged. Pricing hasn’t changed either, this is still one of the most affordable 2000-watt electric pressure washers you can buy. The ePX3000 will effortlessly clean everything from your patio to your driveway, and the built-in soap tank makes removing tough stains much easier. There are other excellent alternatives from companies like Sun Joe and Karcher, which I review later in this article, but my personal favorite is the ePX3000/ ePX3050 from Westinghouse. Plus, it transitions seamlessly between paved and unpaved surfaces thanks to the 360° wheels.
