If you’re looking for the most portable grill and don’t need as much cooking space, the Q1200 can fit the bill. If you need more cooking space and are willing to deal with a bit more heft, the Q2200 provides nearly 100 more square inches of cooking space. But weighing grilling performance — the sum total of output power, control, cooking area, and wind resistance — against the minor setbacks related to portability, and this grill is well worth its price tag. Like all Weber products we’ve tested, the popularity of the brand is backed by quality service and sales, with replacement parts being widely available.
Many portable grills function to cook food but lack the finesse needed for grilling more than hot dogs and burgers. This one brings power and control to this category better than the competition. The Weber Q 2200 is an attractive little grill if I do say so myself.

Even if you aren’t using a disposable bottle, you can really only hold the back third of the grip, resulting in a rather awkward carry until you remove the regulator for transport. Once an item is installed, we cannot accept a return or exchange. If the product becomes defective, product returns or exchanges must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
The control knob, integrated into the regulator unit, is well-defined relative to propane output and easy to adjust. This means that the burner doesn’t need to crank out heat at nearly the same rate as other, less well-insulated grills. That was hot enough for my needs, so I put my burger on the grill and let it cook. The meat was cooked to perfection in around 10 minutes, and I was really impressed at the heat put out by the grill’s 12,000 BTU burner. Both grills portable bbq have a removable catch pan for grease drippings. The lids have built-in thermometers to monitor how hot the grill gets so you know when it’s ready for searing steaks or if you are trying to keep the temperature a bit lower.

Both of the 3200 models include folding side tables for storage in tight areas. It just so happened that while I was testing the grill, my boyfriend had an off-site event at work.
